Before we moved from Little Rock, Hayden got his first golf lesson from Chris, our friend and next door neighbor. Do you think Hayden has a career as a Pro golfer????

Hayden's first golf lesson
Hayden's new bike

Grandma came to visit for a few days, and Hayden has been wanting a bike for a while. We went to Wal-mart one night and got him one- a precious tiny, red bike with training wheels. We even found a little bike helmet to match. He LOVED it! He jumped on it, and tried to drive away. The only catch is, unlike his little battery powered four wheeler, ya gotta put some effort into it. When he barely pushed the pedal and it didn't move, he said "It's not workin! Fix it, mama!"
I can't believe he is growing up so fast-it's so bittersweet!
A little light reading
Hayden found one of Tom's books for work in his office.. it was a small, red book which i'm sure looks like fun to a two year old. The book is actually called "The Sanford Guide to Microbial Therapy". I asked him what it was about, and he said "the little bears". My little man has such an imagination!
Funny Face
Cupcakes!!!

I have never made Hayden cupcakes before, so I thought it would be a lot of fun for him. Of course, he was so excited! He ate two cupcakes and a cup of milk in one sitting. It was very cute! Of course, I ended up with about 20 cupcakes, lol, so I was having to give them away. But I loved seeing him have such a good time ( I did it right, though, vanilla icing-not chocolate!) Here are photos of cupcake day-and one GIANT smile!
Trip to Lake Belton
One of the coolest things about moving here is that we have this huge gorgeous lake just 5 minutes from our house ( I need to post a photo of the actual lake, very pretty!)
Anyway, Hayden has been talking about the beach (Disney channel had a beach day), so we took him to the "beach" last Sunday. He had SO much fun! He even put floaties on and splashed around and wanted to swim. It was adorable. New things are sometimes iffy with him, but this was a huge hit! He floated on his belly and put his head under the water and loved just swimming around. Here are a few photos of Hay-hay's first trip to the "beach" (Galveston's only a few hrs away-maybe we'll get to the real beach soon)!

Happy 4th!!!!!
We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! We had an awesome day, even though daddy had to work a half day :(
Hayden and I went to the Belton Fourth of July parade this morning with some friends. It was a great parade, voted one of the ten best in the country. Then, we came back to spend some time with Gigi and Ma Ma, who are visiting us this week. Tonight, Hayden finally got to go to the playground, which he has wanted to do since we got here. What a busy day! Sorry there are no photos.
