Snow Much Fun!

It doesn't even feel real now, but yesterday, it snowed 5 inches! It was the most beautiful fluffy snow I have ever seen. Hayden had a BLAST playing outside. He loved throwing snowballs at me, the road, the car, everything. He even tried to ride his gator in the snow, but it was too deep! Tom and I took Hayden sledding on the hill across the street from our neighborhood. It wasn't quite tall enough for a real thrill, but Hayden loved it. Sadly enough, it's all gone now, melted away by lunchtime today. But we have some precious memories. Who would've thought we'd have to move to Texas to see such a beautiful snowfall?

Sunny Sunday

This past Sunday was the most beautiful day we have had here in a while..sunny, warm and perfect for a trip to the park. Hayden picked Whistle Stop, so we spent 3 hours playing, swinging, sliding, and climbing on trains. It really was a fun afternoon, complete with a stop at Dairy Queen for dessert!

Hard Working Little Man

Eli is all over the place..his new fave? Hayden's tool bench. There is nothing cooler to a 9 month old than a light up drill that makes noise.

Hayden's Bunk Bed

Well, we finally said goodbye to the converted crib. Basically, Hayden is really too big to be sleeping in a toddler bed, and he has been DYING to have a bed with a ladder for a while. We have also said goodbye to naptime for Hayden. In the beginning, I thought this would be a bad thing, but now I love it! Our time is so much more flexible, and there is only one kid whose naptime we have to worry about. And he doesn't bother napping anyway. Here is a photo of Hayden's new beds, he absolutely LOVES them!

Jumping Jacks

The coolest, most creative jumping jacks I have EVER seen! Gotta love that Hayden!
