Conversation last week between Hayden and Mommy as we are driving down the road:

H: T-A-R spells target, j-a-c spells Jack in the Box, c-funny looking h-i spells Chili's...

Me: What about the rest of the letters? You didn't finish the words..

H:Well, you just got to slow down, Mama!

Introducing Elijah

Here is our first "real" ultrasound photo of Elijah! This one actually looks like a baby, the last time all we got was a little "thumbs up", which was cute but I wanted to see his sweet little face. Hayden is ready for his little brother, who had better get pretty tough early on, I have a feeling "gentle" won't be in Hayden's vocab!

Hayden's Mad Potty Skills

I am pleased to announce that my son has now made it 5 days (including trips to Wal-Mart and Church) with no diapers, and only one naptime accident. I am so thankful! Just when I thought it would never happen, he surprised me.He is hilarious, though. He despises a cold potty seat, so he warms it up with his little hands before he sits down on it!

Where I've been...

It's called Facebook! Oh my goodness, I am still asking myself how I got sucked in! It is amazing, almost every person I have ever known is on there. I have talked to friends I haven't spoken to since high school graduation, and way before!

Another reason I have been so neglectful is that Tom has been on night float (work all night, sleep all day), so I have been SOOO lazy. All these things I planned to do while he was gone at night? Still not done!

Anyway, soon I am going to post some photos of our family at Christmas, including some of Hayden driving his Gator...it's so darn cute!
