Another New Song to Sing

Here is Hayden teaching Daddy his new song he learned at school. Notice the false start, because as every Dad should know, your shoes HAVE to be tied before you can learn anything!

40 Seconds of Cuteness

For the past couple of years, I have been trying to catch all the cute/funny things Hayden has done on video. No luck. BUT, tonight, the stars lined up for me, and I got him not once, not twice, but three times!! Of course, he had no idea I was recording or he wouldn't have sung for us (which is why you are mostly looking at the back of his head and not his face!). Anyway, enjoy the "Baby Bumblebee Song", or as I like to call it, 40 Seconds of Cuteness! (Oh, don't forget to pause the music and turn up your volume a little so you don't miss anything)!

Dueling Pianos

Revelation

There have been times (more than a few!) lately that I have complained about the state of my house. I am not quite a clean freak, nor do I get upset when the tiniest little thing is out of order. I just like things, well, tidy. I pick up the same toys over and over (and over), every single day. But the other day, I walked by the table, and saw this...

little garbage truck sitting there. I all of a sudden came to a revelation. One day, there will not be a tugboat

on the side of the tub, or alphabet magnets (a seriously out-of-control number of them)

covering my refrigerator. Only two grown boys, who will be taller than me, stronger than me, with beards, drivers' licenses, and (gasp) girlfriends, who will surely take up most of their time. All of a sudden, I find myself dropping that garbage truck into the tub with the rest of the hot wheels, but with a little smile on my face. Cause right now, they are still mine. Sticky fingerprints, cheerios in the carpet. Yep, ALL mine. And I can't think of anything that makes me any happier!

Elijah's New Teeth

Finally, here it is! A photo of my little sweetie and his two new teeth. You can really only see one, but the other is right beside it. He has quickly learned biting things is fun! Well, fun for him! There are also a couple of other photos, all bath time. They are all so cute, check out those lashes! He is really getting around in the tub, doing a great job of making me a nervous wreck. He is trying to pull up on the sides, which is just not safe at all. He is learning so much, so fast!

Birthday Fun

Yesterday we took Hayden and Elijah to a friend's 2nd birthday party at one of Hayden's favorite places-the gym. He has so much fun there, jumping on the trampoline, playing in the foam pit, swinging on the rope, etc. Elijah is able to join in on the fun now, he can crawl around and enjoy all the fun little tunnels and toys. It's especially fun for Hayden when Dad is able to come bounce him "real high" on the trampoline!

Who needs a fork to eat cake?

So much fun on the rope swing!

Hayden just being silly!

Nothing's more fun than getting bounced in the air!

Musical Steps

While at the zoo today, we found this really fun new play area. Hayden began stepping on the chimes, and made some cool music! I can't help but share the video. Oh, and you can also pause or turn down the volume on the music player so you can hear Hayden's melody!
